Does Outlook Connector Mean BES?

I have been testing the outlook connector, and it appears to work well (especially when it's run in its own profile).

Given this, I am curious if anyone is familiar enough with the Blackberry Enterprise architecture to say whether or not having this connector means BES can work.

Its a huge step in the road to BES, but more work is required to get BES to work with Zimbra.
