Default Permission Denied Outlook Calendar

I have a user that seems to have a problem editing appointments that he has made. When he tries to edit it gives him a permission denied error. I believe that it also says that he is not the organizer for the appointment. These are appointments that he has made using Outlook, and then trying to edit them in Outlook.

Any ideas?

Thank you,
Nutz

He is using Outlook 2003.

ZCO is 4.5.6 GA (just updated it last week)

This seems to be a sporadic problem, and some appointments that fired this error did not fire it later (eventually he was able to move it) Exact error message: "You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation." -- it's a popup window.

He was trying to change the time on a recurring appointment by one day and a few hours. The appointment was orginally set up in Outlook with ZCO ~ 4.5.4 (a guess). I know that he was trying to move the appointment so that it overlapped with something else on his calendar... Would that have anything to do with it?

Any thoughts would be wonderful.

Thank you,
Nutz

I had a problem with this awhile back and we just recreated the email profile(READ: Delete the old one completely).

Just go into Control Panel > Mail > Profiles

Delete the profile with the problem(backing up if necessary, etc...)

Recreate the profile.

I don't have a clue what caused this, but it has happened on 3 desktops here since ~March. The profile recreate has fixed it everytime without issues. Good luck with it, let me know if it works.
