Outlook Connector and Spam

The Junk folder in the Web Mail client will forward mail placed within it to the spam lover spam training account. Will the Zimbra Connector work the same? I was told by an Outlook person it does its own spam/junk think and probably would not cooperate with the Zimbra plugin.

Ignore the 'Oulook person', you need to forward the email to the junk account as an attachment. There's an RFE in bugzilla for ZCO to respect this option - search and vote.

One more quick question if you don't mind.

Is it ok to give an alias name like SpamIAm@example.com so the users could use that instead of the 34jh34983_@example.com email address? I am sure there was a reason to name the spam accounts like that so I want to make sure it is safe to add a human ized name to it as an alias.

I've never been asked that question before but there's no reason to suspect that an alias won't work. If you do have problems then change the name of the spam account (you can find details in the forum and/or wiki).

Is there any way to create a button in Outlook that will automatically forward a spam email as an attachment to the Spam training account in Zimbra. Would the same work for the Ham account?
