Default Installation with Vista and Outlook 2003 failing

We're trying to install the connector for 4.5.6 on a Windows Vista PC running Outlook 2003. During the installation we get the error message "Installation incomplete" and it crashes out.

Hunting around, I've seen that this is most commonly associated with software that just doesn't work on Vista for some reason, but there are other people on this forum saying that it's installed OK.

Any ideas?

I didn't find this thread in my previous searching but it looks like it has the answer: will test and report back :-)

To report back, the solution linked to does work, though we additionally had to reboot Vista after making the permissions change before the connector would install.

I would turn off uac unders users in control panel then install it. It should go fine after that. you must reboot after you turn off uac.
