Best practice for updating the BES connector?

Dear Team!

Is there any best practice guide available for updating the BES connector?
I´m currently running the 7.1.3 version and I want to update to 7.1.4.

All the upgrade instructions are in the release notes and admin guide. Its basically shutdown BES services, upgrade the connector and start up BES services.

i´ve already read the instructions, but i´m a little bit confused about the upgrade section in the release notes:

Upgrading from ZCB 6.5.x to ZCB 7.1.x
This section contains information about how to upgrade from ZCB 6.5.x
release version or 6.5 beta version to ZCB 7.1.x.
Upgrading ZCB 6.5.x Release Version to ZCB 7.1.x
1. Stop the BlackBerry controller.
2. Run the ZCB 7.1 msi and upgrade connector.
3. Start the BlackBerry controller.
Upgrading ZCB 6.5 Beta Version to ZCB 7.1.x
1. Stop the BlackBerry controller.
2. Remove the ZCB_MailStoreProfile.
3. Create BlackBerryServer_MailStoreProfile.
4. Run the ZCB 7.1 msi and upgrade connector.
5. Start the BlackBerry controller.

Because I´m upgrading from 7.1x and not from 6.5.
Could someone confirm its the same procedure when upgrading from 7.1.3 to 7.1.4?

Its not and its says that, from 6.5 to 7.1.x.

Stop services, run 7.1.4 MSI, start services, done.
