Default upgrade zcb

Hallo,

To upgrade de zcb 6.5.1 to zcs 6.5.3.... can I just run the msi file ?
Or do I have to first unistall 6.5.1 and then install 6.5.3?

After that wil everything else work on my BES without restarting anything?

Hallo,

I find it sad dat nobody seems to known the answer to this question !
When you do an upgrade of your network zimbra server (YES I have a paid version of zimbra !) and you have to update the zimbra blackberry connector.... how o you do it? Unistall the old? Install the new one without unistalling the old?

Somebody?

Greets,

John

OK?

Maybe somebody will know the answer to this one.
The raison I want to upgrade the zimbra connector for blackberry is, sometimes some blackberry's don't want to receive emails anymore.

It has happened to often and my boss is beginning to be a little frustated.
His blackberry stopped receiving mails a couple of times.

We can resolve this issue by stopping the blackberry controller service and then delete the user in the profiles.
Then it receives the mails, but the calenda Items, contacts on the BB are showing up twice.

So Know I want to try to upgrade my zimbra connector for blackberry? (my question above)

How?

greets John

Sorry jayel, i don't have the answer (except 42, of course), but you could contact your reseller to receive support, or open a ticket directly to zimbra

There are a couple of threads (and bugs) about the keys being "lost".

Upgrading to ZCB 6.5 fixes the problem, but you need to regenerate the keys anyway (on the device, there are informations in the threads I'm talking about).

ok,

Thnx, finally someone who's showing somekind of life on this forum section.

@Klug,

I want to upgrade to ZCB 6.5.3 from ZCB 6.5.1.
How do I do that on my BES server?
Do I just run the installer of the 6.5.3 and than go on?
Or do I stop some Blackberry services (or all of them), and then do an upgrade?

Is there some explanation how to to that?
How does other people do it with an BES server and ZCB ?

Greets
John
