    Default Can not get GAL to Sync

    I have followed the BES/Zimbra connector documents and all installed properly on Windows 2003 Server
    using Outlook 2007 SP2
    Zimbra Connector 5.0.2179.19
    Blackberry BES 4.1.7.17

    I get unknown failure when trying to Sync GAL so I don't get any users in BES.
    This is all using my 60 day demo and I want to get this going before purchasing licenses.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Perhaps switching mailmode to 'both' will help to sync GAL. Please see command below:

    zmtlsctl both

    Additionally, BES 4.1.7 is not supported. I would recommend to install BES 4.1.6. Please see zcb installation document for more details.

    I tried zmtlsctl both and it did not help.
    I will reinstall BES proper version, but I think that there is still anahtoer problem as i have not been able to telnet to port 443 on the Zimbra box and have read this is an issue.

    I can not seem to find the download for this older version of BES.
    Any help?

    Command 'zmtlsctl both' is supposed to open up 443 on zimbra server. ZCB is using this port to download GAL from ZCS. Also it is recommended(see install document) to connect ZCB machine to ZCS directly without proxy or firewall in between. Is it possible that you have proxy/firewall that are blocking this port? Also if nothing helps, please do not hesitate to open up support case at support@zimbra.com.

    Please contact RIM's customer service as zimbra does not distribute BES installations.
