Default ZCB-BES user or device limit

Hi folks,

Does ZCB-BES connector have a limit of managed/connected movile devices?

A single BES server with MS-Exchange could handle 1000 BB devices or more. How many devices can ZCS+ZCB+BES support??

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Hernan.

250 devices is the max per BES server. In that case, you would use a multi-agent scenario -- probably 3 agents. Also, we recommend the full SQL Server implementation with that many -- not MSDE.

In order to handle 5000 BB devices, how many BES servers and ZCB instances could cover this scenario?

Kind regards,

Hernan.

Thanks for your reply,

5000/250=20 servers... so the entire email and collaboration solution (ZCS) for 20000 accounts involves 8 servers.... and 20 more servers to attend 5000 BB devices??

20x (MS-Windows license + BES license) the customer is going to kill me !!!!

Other people on zimbra forums talked about funambol and astrasync... do you know if those products are enterprise class alternatives to BES+ZCB to connect BB devices to ZCS??

Thanks (a lot) for any comment or help,

Hernan.
