Default [SOLVED] BES user can't send

Hi all,

I have a BES user that is not able to send emails from their BB device. The calendar updates successfully both ways. If user send an email from their desktop through the Zimbra it updates the sent mail in the blackberry. The user is also receiving email just fine. I have enabled logging for the connector but nothing I can really see that could be the problem. Any ideas on what I could do to troubleshoot further.

I have seen this issue a few times over the past year that we have run BES. I really don't know what caused it and really don't have a good answer for how to fix it. I fixed it by trying, first, a simple battery pull. Sometimes, that's enough. If that doesn't fix it, I try redoing the enterprise activation (by just setting the password). If that doesn't work, I delete the user from BES and start all over again.

I am using Zimbra 6.0.2 on Ubuntu 8.04 64bit and ZCB 5.0.19_GA_2977_5.0.2719.19 on Windows Server 2003 64bit

Have you applied the Outlook commulative patch (Outlook 2007 improvements in the February 2009 cumulative update - Zimbra :: Wiki) to the Outlook on the W2K3 Server? Does the Problem persist, when you reboot the W2K3 Machine?

Thanks Thomas! I issue is actually realated to the ZCB, BES and Zimbra. Am not sure how you solution is realated. However, after a reboot everything was ok for about 20 minuts then we atarted having problems again.

Finally got Zimbra support involved and it turned out the Outlook was not configured to search the GAL. Not sure how that changed because users were able to send before.
