Alternative for the prerequistes for BB connector

Hi All

Is there any alternative for "Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 (MAPI/CDO)" because we have exchange 2003, so we are not able to install this package

Can you please give more details as to why MAPI/CDO can't be installed with exchange 2003?

Additionaly, zcb/bes is using cdo.dll which is installed as a part of MAPI/CDO that is why it might be important to have it installed.

More importantly, why do you need the ZCB if you have MS Exchange ?

this package needs to communicate with exchange 2007 and can't communicate with exchange 2003.

it gives this error "messaging api and collaboration data objects 1.2.1 cannot be installed with this version of Microsoft exchange".

Which "package" are you using? And do you really need that Exchange install?

You can run the BES and Zimbra BB Connector with a simple install of MS Outlook 2007. No need for Exchange.
