Default New Blackberry server

I am attempting to create a second BES server for our current setup, due to the fact that I have 50 users on our main box. I have been told that Zimbra only recommends that you place 50 users on each box. After installing BESx4.1.5 and then installing the ZimbraBESconnector SMB, creating the outlook profiles BlackberryServer and BlackberryManger I continually get the message in event Viewer: agent 1: will not restart - reached the maximum of 10 restarts per 24 hours.

I have restarted all the services and rebooted the box as seen in other posts. I cannot seem to find where this error is coming from or what may be causing it. Please let me know if you require any logs, as I will provide.

In case if you still have this problem please reboot the box and post the snippet of MAGT(agent) log file covering activity after reboot.

Offending line goes below:

[10275] (09/22 21:30:30.553):{0x80C} Failed to retrieve the Server DN, shutting down

Please try to:

- stop BB controller
- repair zcb connector
- start BB controller

In case if this doe not help, please post zcb log file with 'BlackBerryAgent' component in its name.

zcb log looks better now. Please try to restart the whole box again and see if "reached the maximum of 10 restarts per 24 hours" error goes away.

Is there any chance you could try:

- stop BB controller, stop BB Manager
- re-create BlackBerryManager and BlackBerryServer profile
- start BB controller

I am still having issues with this. I never had these problems with the other two that are currenlty in production and am at a loss for what to do next. After trying your last suggestion and attempting to activate a user I and now getting the Failed to get server DN error again. Any thoughts?

To resolve "Failed to get server DN error" please try to:

- stop BB controller
- terminate all instances of the processes 'Outlook.exe', 'CalHelper.exe' or any other processes that could be using 'BlackBerryServer' profile. it may any sort of virus scanner or 'windows search' process (as described in installation document) that interferes with BB agent.
- start BB controller

If above does not help, please open up support case and somebody will work with you directly.
