RIM announced a new Enterprise Express edition supporting up to 75 users - (here).
Quote:
... It provides advanced BlackBerry smartphone features with no additional software or user license fees, and works with any Internet-enabled BlackBerry data plan or a BlackBerry enterprise data plan....
This may hopefully put some weight on the importance of BES 5.0 compatibility!!!

Hi,
I know that by asking I am not helping but do you have any update on the BES 5.0 (thus probably BES express compatability?) any roadmap has been set?

My company is just in a process of choosing right email solution for us. Making Zimbra compatible with BES Express could convince us completely thanks to well balanced TCO of the solution.
Thanks

I got the following statement from the Zimbra Support team:
ZCB support to BES 5.0 will be in the ZCB release 6.0. ZCB Connector 6.0 is targeted to be released this Summer...

Check the Zimbra Product Portal for "ZCB.6.0.x" and do your votes if possible!
