50 user limit

The GA description mentions a limit of 50 users. Why is that limit there? What happens if we hit it? Are there other options for syncing more devices?

Recommended max is 50 users. I know that some of the users are running up to 80 users per BES instance. After recommended max is reached you may receive error message in BES MAGT log file indicating that user was not added succesfully.

If we add additional BES servers (i.e. up to 50 users per BES), is this acceptible?

Please feel free to add extra BES servers to scale over 50 users. We are working to improve max number of users per BES instance at the moment.

where do you stand now with the work to increase the 50 user limit? it cost to add new bes server, these are all so called hidden cost.

In the release note for the version 5.0.18 of the ZCB :

System Features:
• Up to 250 users can be provisioned
• Up to 100 users can be on any given BES instance.

I was wondering what is a "BES instance"?
Is it possible to install many BES instance on the same windows 2003 server?

Obviously 'BES instance' is a typo. I think that it should be interpreted as 'BlackBerryAgent'. And yes, 250 users can be provisioned on the same instance of BES. Please see multi-agent appendix.
