As Goonsniper noticed in the first comment, you may still see UI references to BETA3 during installation of BETA4. Bug 35238 was opened and fixed to address this issue.

Will this allow me to upgrade my existing installation or will it require a full uninstall/reinstall?

Upgrade to BES BETA4 from previous versions is supported. Please follow 'Upgarding ZCB' section of installation document.

Default missing beta4 and user config

I also noticed the beta4 not being in the spot. Oddly, this is the same what happened last year when I had a BES installation. One beta was announced but it took for ever to see it for download. Is there any location that I don't know about?

Looking for B4 because I have some weird issue with B3. My installation just had some issues, so I thought to recreate the profiles again. Now the profile dialog to set up the accounts constantly claims that the user validation failed. Even so I can access the webgui for that bes admin account just fine. So it is NOT a pwd issue.

I obtained ZCB beta 4 by going to this page Zimbra - Products: BES Download (Beta) Registration Form
and entering the contact & deployment info, and then was able to download from there.

Default beta4

It just gets you the the same file of beta3 5.0.2683.13.msi which states
beta3

Personally I don't care what it is called, the problem I have is that I can NOT
set up the profiles. Whenever I try to create the profiles the dialog tells me that the account could not be validated against the zimbra server.

I had this working before and reinstalled because of some errors. I never had
such stubborn issues with any SW. the server is 5.0.11 network edition.

Yep, that looks like beta 4 to me (xxxx5.0.2683.13.msi), as the installer for Beta 3 said something about 5.0.10_GA_2514_5.0.2676.10.msi in it. I *think* what you're seeing is what all these other posters in this thread were referencing about accidental references to beta 3 still being made. I guess they haven't changed it everywhere yet? I downloaded mine awhile back so I could be wrong.
