Msde?

Good afternoon,
I am staring down the barrel of a BES install, as NotifyLink is flaking out on some of my most critical users.

In RIM's requirements information they mention a MSDE or SQL Server installation, yet I am not seeing this in the ZCB documentation. Where during the installation of ZCB is MSDE required?

That is nothing to do with the connector but with installing a BES architecture. It is the RIM side of things and not Zimbra. ZCB is purely the conduit.

Then the MSDE (Microsoft SQL desktop Engine) is installed with BES? I just need to know all the things I need to buy.

You need to speak to RIM about what the BES server requirements are, and not Zimbra
