Understanding BES and Zimbra

Hi all

I'm completely new to the Blackberry Server. We now have customer requests to be able to sync their Blackberrys to our Zimbra server. Because other information are rare I'd like to ask the community how the stuff works.

What I've done now:

1. Setup BES
2. Setup ZBC

My first question is: The BlackberryManager Profile is set to Administrator. Can I sync just one domain through the BES or all the domains of my Zimbra Server? The GAL obviously just shows the domain of the admin from the profile

Secondly: Why is Outlook needed in this process? Isn't there a possibility to link BES to Zimbra directly?
