Question Documentation Bes/zimbra

Someone has a procedure for deploying the BES with the Zimbra?
What should I install the Server?
Thanks
Juliana

go ahead and register and download the ZCB trial.

http://www.zimbra.com/products/bes_trial.html

the install docs should be part of the download.

Ok, I am helpping her to deploy a BES BOX.

The Zimbra BOX is working fine and the connector has been downloaded.

As she has already downloaded the BES for Exchange, we have tried this setup, but it failed because she does not plan to deploy a Exchange Server, so the MAPI setup cannot be done.
As soon as the BES Professional download is completed (prob tomorrow) we will try again.

I will post our story after all.

I tried with BES Enterprise Installation, but it didn't work neither.
Abaldo, do you have any news about that?

I don't know if i quite understand the problem but here is an attempt to suggest a solution....
When you are installing BES for Exchange (doesn't matter if it is the full BES or the professional edition), when it asks you for specific Exchange credentials, please enter any data that will get you past that dialog. The reason why this is OK is because it uses that data to create the BlackBerryManager and BlackBerryServer mail profiles that you will be deleting and recreating after you install ZCB.

The installation of BES is not recognizing the Exchange MAPI.
Install only the Exchange MAPI is enough?

I'm still unclear of what the problem is. Can you please outline exactly what you are doing and where you are blocked? There is a bug filed (that I fixed) that handles the case of the new MAPI/CDO download from Microsoft not placing cdo.dll in \windows\system32. you can manually get around that by copying the files from \program files\ExchangeMapi to \windows\system32 before installing ZCB. Is that the problem?

Cool

In the installation of the BES, get this alert "Exchange Server is not detected. A newer version of mapi23.dll may need be installed"
Even if I ignore and continue to install, then can not install ZCB.
