Default Manager & Server accounts not showing GAL via ZCB

Hi all,

have installed ZCB as per the docs, but can't add users in BB manager or view the GAL when logged on to Outlook as BlackBerryManager or BlackBerryServer.

I am able to list the GAL logging onto webmail or Outlook+Connector as the bes admin user.

Some pointers to debugging would be a great start!

Cheers,

When you use Outlook as the BES admin, are you launching the actual BlackBerryServer or BlackBerryManager profile on the BES machine? Or have you created another profile on another box? Can you stop the BES controller service on the BES machine and launch Outlook there and open up both of these profiles? If the GAL doesn't show up there, then you might have a problem with your https port on your server. BES requires that you have the https port open (443) along with the admin port (7071) to function. Its possible that the https port is not open but you created your other Outlook profile against the normal http port and that is why the GAL synced in that situation.

Let me know how that goes if you have already done it. "zmtlsctl https" or "zmtlsctl both" are the ZCS server scripts that you need to run to enable https and then you have to restart your ZCS server.

Ah, that'll be it then. All the testing so far has been on the LAN & I didn't bother to check https...

Be nice if the connector setup could flag up the problem though

Anyway, many thanks for the speedy assistance Anthony.
