did you not follow the docs?

you need 2 profiles
BlackBerryServer, BlackBerryManager

BES requires both of them but they are created in the same way.

those profiles are not the profiles that were created by BES, you needed to delete and recreate them after the ZCB install.

this brings up a very good point for all people trying to install the blackberry connector...please follow the docs. the order in which things are installed are very imporant and all the other steps outlined in our installation doc are very imporant.

i also posted a very short checklist of the things required to get the solution working in this post:

http://www.zimbra.com/forums/zimbra-...t-install.html

we are working really hard to help people out on the forums whenever we can but it would be nice if we could assume that the users had made every attempt to set things up according to the instructions that we had already published.

Exclamation Steps to reactivate

We had a similar issues, please try this:
  • Remove the users account from the blacberry managment console,
  • Stop the controller,
  • Go to: "C:\Documents and Settings\s-ash-bes\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook",
  • Start the controller,
  • Add the user,
  • Have the user go on thier device to options, security, security options, press submenu key and choose "wipe handheld."
  • After
the device clears, then walk them throught the steps to reactivate.

If this works, then it sounds like the people out there with deveoper skills should consider helping with fixing the issue that the management console cannot clear the mapi info while the controller is running. Stopping the controller on a production bes, is not user friendly. Msprey
