Default activation problem

Hi, i installed the BES and the zimbra bes connector.
I search in the gal and added a user, then i went to enterprise activation in mi device put my email and password.
Then in the account in the zimbra server i get the mail activations with this subject: Subject: RIM_bca28a80-e9c0-11d1-87fe-00600811c6a2
But it seems that the server never parse it.
what can i do?
thanks

most common reason why this happens is because you don't have the right level of service with your carrier. you need to make sure that you have "BES" service enabled and not just data or "BIS".

Hi alee, thanks for reply, but my device was working with another BES.
Any other ideas?

did you wipe your device before trying to enterprise activate again?
if you have, then we'd have to dig into your logs to see what is happening.
its possible that removing the user, re-adding the user and setting a new enterprise activation password might do the trick.
also make sure that all of your BES services are running...like the dispatcher.

other people have had this problem on the forums. have you taken a look at those posts? sometimes it is due to BES services not starting (i.e the dispatcher), sometimes it is due to the level of service for the account with the carrier.

if it isn't any of those, we probably need to see your BES agent logs to help debug the issue further.

when you talk to the carrier make sure that they fully understand that you want your device to talk to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES).
