Usually I don't need any synchronization during the night.
I can't find that option... Is that missing?

You can use something like Sweet Dreams (on the Android market) that will disable functions on your device during the hours you set.

That's a workaround and I agree that scheduling should be a part of the app.

+1 for having some scheduling options built into the app. I'll usually leave mine on push, even at night, but for example if I'm out of town and know I won't be able to charge a lot, I'd like to change to polling.
