Our hosting provider requires a gateway that isn't within the 'local subnet'. How can I modify routing e.g. by adding post-up and pre-down lines to /etc/network/interfaces? What is the root password for the appliance?
(I'm aware that I can mount the disk from a live CD and add our own root account, but I would prefer a documented / supported solution)
