Creating Admin Users?

Hello,

I cant seem to locate where I can create more Administrator users?(Same level as the user "vmware). How is this done?

Our helpdesk needs access to create accounts, reset passwords,etc and we generally like to create a user for each agent....

Found in the Docu :

"Setting Up the Administrator Account
One administrator account can be created in ZCA and this account is created
during the installation of ZCA. This admin account is the first account
provisioned on the server and allows you to log on to the administration
account using the password that was created at the same time."

You can create normal user account and then give user permissions for administration.This you can do via login from admin panel of zimbra..

Where?

In the normal version you can but it seems like they took this out of the Appliance version.

I'm finding it hard such a big company like VMware ignore such a simple feature like adding more admins. What if something happens with that account, I'm SOL?

ZCA 6.0.x is limited to a single admin. This is a limitation of VMWare studio which is used to build the zimbra appliance. ZCA 7.0.x will the same single admin account for OS administration but will expose the full ZCS admin console including delegated admin.
