    Default Storage increase or add...

    Hi,
I try to use zimbra appliance (VMZ) with vmware server 2.0.0.
I wuold like to know how is it possibile to increase storage space or add a new one.
I read in the ZCA Administration Guide: "You should
regularly monitor the disk capacity and when disks reach the 85% full
threshold, you should plan to add additional disk space." but how to do it?

    Tnx in advance,
    Nicolo'

You add additional HD space the same way you would in any VMware Guest: +"vmware server" +"additional hard disk" +linux - Yahoo! Search Results

Not that simple actually since the appliance is using logical disks (lvm2). I am trying to do the same since this morning and since I never used logical volumes I am a bit struggling ...

So I completed it. The easiest way I found is to create a new virtual hard drive. Then under ubuntu, follow the instruction of that article
Partition extension using LMV(Logical Volume Manager) - ®*

In fact it is quite easy finally .... Just add a new disk to your virtual machine and run from a terminal
    Code:
    sudo /etc/init.d/zimbraExpandLV start
