Default incorrect mime type when attaching pdfs

I've got a client with an install of Zimbra 4.5.5 Open Source Edition. When they attach pdf's to their emails, the generated email has attachment type of text/pdf. Eg, the mime header looks like:
Quote:
------=_Part_2_13330996.1183002237769
Content-Type: text/pdf; name="Comparative Data.pdf"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="Comparative Data.pdf"
This causes problems when trying to open the attachment. You can't just view the attachment. I've managed to save the attachment to the hard drive and then view it, but at their site they have problems even doing this.

Anyone else seeing this? Any suggested fixes?

Default Content-Type is not autodetermined

Zimbra uses the MIME type provided by the browser's file upload when writing the MIME serialization for attachments. In other words, "text/pdf" is coming from the browser of the user sending the mail, and to fix this you need to look at their computer.
