.pst Import/export Please

I would love to see a basic IMPORT/EXPORT feature added so that individual mailboxes could be dumped to .PST files. As someone who has worked and provided support in an MS Exchange environment for years, and in various Lotus Notes Environments for decades, being able to quickly and easily dump a users mailbox, contacts, and calendar to a standard file format has saved my butt many many times. At the very least I will export my own and my direct superiors mailboxes prior to any major hardware or software upgrades.

What is the status of this RFE? The only way I've found to export a full mailbox to pst is to open it in outlook and export it to pst from there.

I have started looking at the zipped format using the url
http://mail.domain.com/zimbra/user/n....com/Inbox.zip
but this needs to be done for each folder that user might have, if there was a way to zip all the folders at once that would be very useful.

The original posting is old, but this would be an excellent feature to have. We have employees starting and leaving, as well as employees shifting from other departments -- the ability to export Zimbra mail to Outlook would be a great feature to have.

Any Movement on this?

As with one of the previous posters, the ability to export user account via the admin account directly to PST is a feature that is needed.

I'd be satisfied by the Exchange equivalent, which is to log into the users account using the admin user/pass. (e.g. admin\user@domain.com)

for .PST there is the PST import wizard (available for download in the download section of the admin console) - though I've never tried it.

For export you can at least try the zimlet StarXpert:Save: it can save mails (though not in .pst format I must admit)...
