Is This a bug ?

The mails our customers sent to us can not be displayed correctly in Zimbra!


My Problem is not about the multi-language GUI display ,
but about mail display !
This is a big Problem in our company , may be also in many international companies.

I can not anticipate what code(utf-8 , Big5 , GB 2312 or EUC) will be used by our customer to send a mail,
but the conversion between the codes seems not be work.
Is there any solution to display the mail correctly in zimbra ?
Dose zimbra support multi-language display ?

Hi STC,
I saw your attachment. I need to know what version of ZCS you're on.

If it's an older version, you need to upgrade soon to reduce the risk of lost messages.

If it's a current version, please let me know so I can get a bug filed asap.

we use zcs-4.5.5_GA_838.RHEL4.tgz to install


also use zccontrol -v , show our version is
Release 4.5.5_GA_838.RHEL4_20070503175122 CentOS4 FOSS edition

Is this the current version ?

Thanks John, i overlooked this mail.

I have visited the link you gave to me ,
also the the "Similar Threads" ( Thai language display problem when sent to yahoo or hotmail )
It seems to be a problem from many others ,
but i didn't find any solution , did i lose something ?
