Can someone give me some hints as to setting up shared calendaring, for now just on the web interface between users? Then next to outlook or sunbird sync?
I am a bit lost in trying to make this work.
Thanks in advance.

Select the calendar view from the left hand side.
Right-click on the calendar you want to share.
Click on "Share Calendar" from the context menu.
Type in the zimbra username of whom you want to share the calendar.
Then select the privilege level they have.
Repeat this step with everyone you want to share the calendar with.
When I try to share the calendar I get this error message, and no calendar is shared. I am assuming shared calendar's work for other people.
I am running on Cent OS 4.1.
Any ideas?

Don't understand the details, but by stopping and starting the share works between users.
now i need to make it sync with an offline calendar program! (outlook, sunbird, etc)
http://zimbra.mydomain.com/service/user/~/calendar.ics
will work for remote read-only. As of M2 there is no write functionality to these calendars. It has been slotted for the next release if i remember correctly.
how's it coming? is it read-write capable yet?
You can only subscribe to other external calendars using ical right now.
If you want write access, both servers will need caldav. For us, caldav is coming in 5.0
