    Default iCal export/import?

    hi,
According to your documentation there seems to be a way to publish the users caledars as iCal files. How does it work? How can I use for example sunbird with this?

    Hi. The URL is:

    http[s]://{server}/service/ical/cal.ics

You'll be prompted for your username/password via basic auth, so https is recommended.

It currently returns any appts that fall within -30 and +90 days, we'll probably add query parameters in the future to be more selective.

On a side note, Apple's ical program currently doesn't allow you to enter an https url, though a search on goole should dig up some workarounds.

ps. I might have also misunderstood your question. The above describes how a user can access their own calendar. At a point in the future we will offer ways for users to "public" their calendars (or a subset) so other people can view them.

    Default Pushing changes?

It seems the ICalServlet only implements the GET method. Is there no way to push calendar changes to the server? It seems somewhat limited to only be able to read calendar entries.

    Default Rest Post

I believe that the iCal servlet is deprecated and will probably go away at some point.

You should be able to POST a calendar using the UserServlet at http://hostname/service/user/~/.... Check out Roland's blog posts and the wiki.

You can't keep it updated that way, but I think you should be able to publish it once.
