Default Auto-Archive or Moving to Folder of messages

Hi
Not sure if this is the right location to post, but i see that there are Mail Filters that can move messages to another folder (eg. Archive) if before a certain date. Is it possible to create a rule/filter that can automatically move messages that are older than a time/date range (eg. 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, or more) form the server side.

I am sure there is a way to do this on a client eg. Outlook or thunderbird. My Sony Ericsson mobile (latest model k800) has an IMAP email client, however they neglected to put in a date range feature to only download emails that are new, or 1 day old or 3 days old, etc. I was trying to figure out a way to do this on the server side with Zimbra.

Thanks for anyone's support or input.

Welcome to the forums.

If you're a Network Edition customer then there's an archiving feature in that. For the OSS version there isn't an equivalent feature. There might be an RFE in bugzilla if you'd like to search, I vaguely remember it also being mentioned in the forums recently.
