Question About mails retention and calendar confirmations

Hi there,

I have several questions about Zimbra features :

About the retention... For me, one important "missing" feature is the possibility to set up retention on imap folder.
E.g : I got an folder where I want to keep only the 30 last mails or only the mails dated from the last week...(like Thunderbird)
May be I did'nt search well but I find nothing about it... even on the forum.

Another question, about the calendar confirmation... is it possible to disable the confirmation which are sent by location or resource ?

Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

Erwan

From the Admin console you can set the retention time on the Spam and Trash folders specifically, and you can also set the more generic "Email message lifetime", which covers all folders. You cannot set retention time on any other specific folders besides Spam and Trash. Sounds like a good idea though. You may want to file an enhancement request through bugzilla.

So if you're interested by this feature, please vote for the following request on the buzilla : http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15974
