Default Distribution List

OK. This may seem like a dumb question but....

I have created a distribution list called "Test" in the Administrators Console.

When I log in as a user to the Zimbra mail console how can I access that distribution list that I created? The only way I can find it is to do a search in the GAL for the word "test" and then it shows up as "test@webmail.avmax.ca"....but nothing would indicate to a user that this is a Distribution List per se....

Any thoughts?

Default agreed

at some point we would like to have a capability in the end user UI to see distribution list members if so desginated by the admin. Also on that wishlist would be the ability for users to create their own distribution list.

So for the time being a person could just logically name the Dist List in the Admin Forum, i.e.......purchasingdistlist so it would show up in the GAL as purchasingdistlis@domain.com?

Thus when a user chose that address for a send it would go to the people assigned to the dist list as specified in the Admin Console?

It would also be nice to have the ability to set a reply-to in a distribution list.

I actually decided to install Mailman on my zimbra server. This would be a pretty nice OOTB feature, especially if it could be managed by the slick Zimbra admin app.

I use the convention of ALL CAPS for distribution lists.

Please allow users to view the members of distribution lists.

Default Reply-To header rewrite in Zimbra or Postfix?

I voted for this feature in Bugzilla #15664. You should vote for it, too.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to learn how to modify my Zimbra's Postfix configuration to rewrite the Reply-To header for inbound messages sent to specific addresses (Zimbra distribution lists). I've found no examples, but I'm starting with this information. Any help from Postfix gurus here would be appreciated.
