Default iSync and iCal

I am trying to sync my Zimbra calendar with my iCal calendar. Events that are in the Zimbra calendar don't make their way down to iCal. However, iCal events do end up in the Zimbra calendar. Odd that the option is to sync but it doesn't work bi-directional. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Rob

Default Sync problems from iCAL to Zimbra

I'm having a similar problem, but my problem is from iCal to Zimbra. I'm hitting sychronize from the Zimbra isync tool.

Hey Rob. What version of the iSync Connector are you using?

Thanks,

Scott

I believe it is version 4.5.441.

Now I am having another problem. I decided to try the option to "Reset Sync Data" and have it "Pull all data from teh zimbra account". That was a big mistake I think. Now, everytime it tries to sync, it wants to delete everything from my iCal and copy in what is in Zimbra. The problem there is that not everything is in Zimbra so I would lose most of my calendar entries. Any ideas there?

Rob, I recommend that you do two things. First off, delete the current profile that you have configured in the Zimbra prefPane. Second, you are using an old version of the iSync Connector that does not work correctly with the server version you are using. Please get the latest version of the connector from the server downloads section of the admin console. Install the new version after downloading it, then create a new account profile in the iSync Connector. After that, your syncs should work correctly.

Take care,

Scott
