Default Error on date search

When I include the date in an advanced search on the Zimbra web client, I get an error "unable to parse the search query". This happens on ZCS 4.5.1 and 4.5.3. I'm running Firefox 1.5 on Linux.

It happens whether I select "on", "before" or "after", whichever date I choose and if date is the only criterion for the search or one of several.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Iain

Can you provide a screen shot of the error with your search params in the background?

Thanks

One screenshot. I'm in the UK and using UK date formats - don't know if that might be connected to it.

Can you file it in bugzilla with a copy of your screenshot attached, also mention you're using UK date formats (I assume the server is also UK date format?). Thanks.

Cheers,
Check the status of the above mentioned bug report in bugzilla, vote on it and enter your bug details (as fully as possible) and then send a case in to support@zimbra.com and ask them to attach it to that bug.

FWIW, I've just tried this on the current release 5 beta 2 and it works correctly.

I'm still on an old version but found that if I type date: followed by the (UK)date in the seach criteria in, rather than picking from the calendar, it works.

e.g. date:13/04/2008
