Default Limit in complete from gal ?

When i compose an e-mail, i use the complete from gal plugged in an external ldap.

Is there a limit of the number of corresponding e-mail adresses displayed by zimbra, according to the first letters i typed ? If yes, is there a way to change this limit ?

I have a stange pb :
Looking for a man with first name "philippe". Zimbra display a number of "philippe"
coming from ldap but the one i search is not displayed. And as the results are in alphabetical order, it let me think that the adress does not exists. But searching by last name give me the answer from the same ldap ?

The question could also be : which are the fields used in the LDAP to do the search (full name, first name + last name, etc) ?

If this is the issue, we can easilly change it 8)

David, the search filter and autocomplete filter works fine with lot of people in our organization, with first characters of the firstname or the lastname.

But sometimes, search does not retrun all the answers we expect, and i noticed that answer can be different if browser is different. (firefox 1.5 does not give the same than ff 2.0 !!).

I think i 'll open a support case for this.
