Create a group by a tag

Is there any way to bind the tag function to the group function?

I'm a little lost... what's the "group function", and what do you mean by "bind the tag function"?

Sorry what I ment was the Tag function within Zimbra/Outlook to categorize users, and the mailto group function that was recently added in 4.5

We had users today asking if the could email a list from their Tags, or create email groups from their tag function.

No, at present you can't send an email to all contacts tagged with a given tag.

You can file it as an enhancement request in bugzilla, though!
