Default Sharing Email folders?

We are migrating from MDaemon to Zimbra but the one thing we could do in MDaemon that it seems we cannot in Zimbra is share mail folders. With the way Zimbra handles identites, sharing mail folders would be very helpful. Right now we need to forward mail from the account we would like to "share" to the other users that require access. While this works to get the messages delivered, it does not allow the users to really manage the mail in the top level account.

A use case is emails sent to "Support@ourdomain.com". This folder used to be shared by several users. Any user could tell at the drop of a hat if the message had been replied to. Messages could be moved to other folders etc.

Is there a way to do this with the current system? If not, is it on the roadmap? Any other ideas to work around?

Thanks for your help.

If you mean shared folder via the web ui there is no way at the moment to do that. There's an enhancement request in bugzilla if you want to search for it and vote.

I put a vote in on that enhancement. We have the exact same problem - lots of general accounts for managing customer interaction which can cross between internal employees.

We handled it previously via Eudora/IMAP with each person having access to the shared accounts. We dumped Eudora to get away from local installs (and the fact that the product is dead) but now we're faced with having to install some other local front end to accomplish this same thing rather than using the web UI. Not ideal by any means.
