    Default how to change new UI webbased

    the webbase UI has changed recently to a - to me - very unfriendly interface. I can't change the columns I want to see in my inbox, I can't change the width of panes, I can't move several mails from my inbox to a specific folder at the same time, can't highlight them, the folder pane closes each time and the 'move to' drop down menu is totaly useless as it is not wide enough for me to recognize the folder names. Just to name a few. I don't know what happenend, but it is not working for me (

    Hi Isabelle! This is Jenn, Zimbra's community manager. Thanks for joining us out here and sharing your feedback.

    Hmmm. Sounds like you are on a version I am personally unfamiliar with. Is there anyway you could make a screen capture of what your interface looks like and post the image here (blacking out your private info, of course)? That might help me, Jon and our community champions understand what you are seeing and possibly help make it better more quickly.

    Got it. No I don't think we'd need your address/url. I'm just trying to figure out what version you have. I'm on Collaboration 8.0, and it is a little different than yours. I am going to give Jon and our community here a chance to check this out and see if there is a way to improve your experience. Not sure how much time that will take, but I'll circle back with you Monday either way.

    You don't mention which browser or operating system you're using, what are they? If you're using any flavour of Windows do you have any anti-virus or ant-malware software installed or any add-ons in the browser that may be interfering with the browser? Have you tried starting the browser with a clean profile, do the problems still occur?

    You should be able to right-click on the column header and see the available options.

    It doesn't do that for me, how many characters are your Folder names?

    Are you saying that none of those features work the way I've described? We need to know the exact version of ZCS that you're using. What happens if you change the language to English, do these problems still happen?

    You should be able to right-click on the column header and see the available options.

    Are you saying that none of those features work the way I've described? We need to know the exact version of ZCS that you're using. What happens if you change the language to English, do these problems still happen?

    none o these things worked, as that was the whole reason I was confused. BUT: the issue has been solved in the mean time and I am feeling really pretty stupid right now.... logging out and logging in while choosing 'advanced' in stead of 'standard' solved the whole issue... no idea how the whole thing got changed to standard - in over 12 years, this has never happened. sorry to worry you guys and wast time! glad it is resolved and I am back to my wonderful version of Zimbra again!

    Fantastic. So glad your issue was resolved. Do not feel stupid. It was not a waste of time, at least not on our end. It was a learning experience for all of us. Now I have another possible scenario to consider when someone else posts with a similar sounding issue. Thanks so much for sharing in the community, Isabelle! Thanks Bill for swooping in to help figure this out.
