Default Large Personal Distribution Lists

I have user who do large email news letters.

They can happily create personal groups, but when they select a group, it is automatically expanded into the list of recipients. When the list is very large, this leaves little or sometimes no room to write the message. No scroll box is displayed, so the system becomes almost unusable.

Am I the only one to suffer from this? Do you think the list should remain unexpanded?

Have you looked in bugzilla to see if there's any RFEs for this? You could always file an enhancement request and vote on it.

Yeah, I can definitely confirm this. It is a showstopper for us. I love everything I'm seeing so far in my initial testing and hope to buy soon, but there is no way I can implement this for our company with this bug still present.

....."still present" - the bug report was only raised on the 15th February.

If you're on a NE trial then raise a case with support and get them to attach it to that bug number, you should also vote on that bug (if you haven't already).

I wasn't trying to imply lack of response, Just a general statement indicating that we wouldn't be able to change over to this system before this issue was resolved. No negativity intended.

I'm currently running our inhouse test on the open-source version, but I am registered for the NE trial and downloading it now. And I did vote on the bug :-).

Don't forget to raise the issue with support when you start the trail, it al adds to the impetus for getting it fixed.

Just as a heads up, this bug was marked as a duplicate of this bug
http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13294

Please vote for it if you want this fixed.
