Default [SOLVED] User Guide for Zimbra

Apologies if such a thing already exists but I would really like to find a 'User Guide' for Zimbra.

What I mean is, a guide I could give to my users and designed for beginners on how to use the Zimbra interface and also Outlook with the Zimbra connector installed (how to set up shared folders etc).

I realise there are several useful documents for Administrators but there seems to be nothing for the non-technical user.

I also realise that there is a pretty good help system built-in for Zimbra but something to be kept available up in the our offices in paper copy for reference would be nice.

Has anybody created such a thing that they would be willing to allow us to use or is there any plans for such a thing?
I know there is a bugzilla for such a thing but the link just points you back to the main document page on which I can not find anything suitable.

Thanks

Russ

That's pretty good thanks!

This might sound stupid but would I be allowed to download this guide, images and all, I imagine not?
I'm just not sure on the legalities of using someone else's hard-work like that!

Cheers

You could always ask them, there's a 'contact us' page.

I am very glad you have the courtesy to ask - as technically there's physically nothing to stop you from copying it, and no one would probably ever know, but if you do so a citation: 'content from WIU/CAIT' would be nice somewhere.

Actually, I'll forward this to the appropriate people here and at zimbra, and they can chime in/let you know. You might be able to get it in PDF from zimbra (it'll be an older copy but it's actually from their internal draft) or do you want me to see if they'll allow a copy/download of the wiu webpages?
Images asside, as ou stated, most of the text is actually already available to you-hit help in your zimbra client.

This is not in anyway official-it's not my department:
However, eventually new images, updated documentation, and new flash animation developed for WIU might be shared in the Zimbra Partner Certification Portal.
CAIT & Zimbra are kind of collaborating on possible training methods to broaden some of the end-user documentation, especially in regards to different learning styles. Honestly, how many people/end-users enjoy reading long manuals? For the organizations out there that have to follow strict regulations & because other schools have already asked: all content of course would be ADA compliant.

-With approval from Zimbra; though they would like to point out that it's still a draft. A more finalized copy will eventually be posted to the documentation sections.

Default Thanks for the Zimbra User Guide!

Thanks very much for this user guide, it is current and explains all the features well. And fills another gap in the Zimbra-story.

We'll distribute to our Zimbra user base next week!

btw-GregA edited my post and moved the pdf to files.zimbra.com for better access

Default User Guide

The new User Guide is a welcome addition to Zimbra!

How do we:

1. Obtain permission to modify and use it for our user population,
2. obtain a copy in Word (.doc) format?
