Default Save replies in the folder of the message being replied to

Does anyone know if there is an option or a zimlet that can be used to place replies in the folder of the message being replied to ?

I have a number of filters running, moving messages to folders when they arrive in the inbox, but when I reply to the message from the folder, the reply is saved in the sent items folder. Is there a way to automatically save the reply in the same folder as the original message?

There isn't an 'easy' way to set this, but it is possible to create outgoing filters that will perform actions on the sent message based on the content. If there's something about the outgoing message that can be used as a reference (i.e. like who it's addressed to), then you can then set a move action based on that and choose the proper folder.

Conceivably, someone could write a zimlet to do this, but I'm not aware of the existence of one currently.

I have the same need with the original post and when I search the web, I found this post.

I have used thunderbird for a long time and I would like to change to zimbra desktop as a email client for me because of the conversation view interface that I love.
However, in thunderbird, there is an option save-replies-folder-message-being-replied that is really very useful for me and I don't find it in zimbra desktop.

Well, anyway, I have downloaded this zimlet and uploaded to the zimbra desktop.
However, it show error when I send email after I active this zimlet.

I guess, if this zimlet would need to work with zimbra server?
Because I am having our own email server in my company. I will only use zimbra desktop as email client.
I hope this zimlet would be avaliable for me.

    Thanks guy.

    Regards,
    Andrew

Unfortunately i checked zimlet only in web-client (ZCO 8.0.7). Zimbra Desktop uses older api so it might have problems to work.

I have searched this function in zimbra desktop for a day and it seems no luck that i cannot find solution.
I hope this feature can be added to zimbra desktop officially in the coming future.
