Message filters - bulk tagging / filing

Is it possible run filters over entire message set in order to apply filter rules.

For example, if I have 10000 imported messages, can I create a filter to tag certain messages, and then apply this filter?

Also, when I do a search for messages, and then apply a tag, it only tags the current page (set to 100 msgs). Is it possible to tag *all* messages?

The quick answer is no for your questions. I believe there's an entry in bugzilla for the first part of your question and probably no entry for the second part, do a search and vote for any bugs you find and if there's no entry then file one.
