Default How to save out email messages?

I get several eBulletins that I need to keep for reference, but I'm approaching my mailbox quota. I could print off hard copies, but I'd rather keep them in electronic format on my harddisk. I'm sure there has to be a way to save out an email as a local file, probably html or rtf, but I can't seem to find a way to do so.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Default RFC822 format

You can save the original message in RFC822 format by right-clicking on it, selecting "Show Original" from the context menu, and then saving the resulting content as a file.

We are working on a zimlet to locally save emails and/or folders simply dragging it over the zimlet. We are testing it on ZCS 4.5 for subfolder backups

We are very happy to hear that you are working on a zimlet :-)

Questions:
1.
Is it possible to save/export to ascii/txt as well?

2.
What happend if the user saves/exports the same mail/message
several times?

Cheers,

John
