Default Outlook 2002 mystery

I transferred my outlook 2002 .pst files on a thumb drive to a new laptop (XP).
Somehow, while I was able to copy all of my files and put them in a "personal folder", a second personal folder got created as well. That folder can't be opened and when I try to delete it I get a message saying "The path specified for the file E:\backup Outlook.pst is not valid". So I tried putting the thumb drive back in hoping I could delete the extraneous folder but to no avail.
Each time I open Outlook I get the "The path specified for the file E:\backup Outlook.pst is not valid" message. I delete the message and can run the application just fine but there is something not right about that extraneous folder and I'd like to get rid of it.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Angry Sorry but.......

Sorry, I guess I misunderstood the nature of the Zimbra forum.
I need a forum where people know about and write about Microsoft Outlook 2002 and after a search I obviously chose the wrong one.
A last request and then I'm gone from Zimbra......
Anyone know of a forum such as the one I seek?
Thank you.

So the question that we moderators have to ask is, how far can we go before it's not really relevant to the discussion.

Your question, for example, is an outlook related question, rather than a zimbra server question. Our main focus has to be on the server itself, rather than the client software.

I would guess that your problem is related to the fact that you restored it from the thumb drive. I'd remove your current outlook profile, create a new one, copy your pst file to your mydocs, and import it into outlook.

It's not a problem it's just that we don't specifically cover that type of topic. If there's anyone that knows the answer to your questions I'm sure they'll post.

There are plenty of good forums for office users, Slipstick have a ton of technical advice and WindowsITPro have somme good forums. It's been a while since I used MS Office so I can't really help you with your problem but there are a lot of forums and help sites, a quick google for your problem would also throw up some good links.

If you're ever in need of a good mail server don't forget where we are.
