Default AntiSpam doesn't work with external POP3 Account

The messages retrieve from external POP3 Account aren't proceeded by antispam.

Why?

Antivirus works.

What evidence do you have that they're not being processed? How are you getting them from an external pop3 account? Which release of Zimbra?

I use Zimbra 4.5.0

If i use fetchmail it works , if i use POP Accounts inside Zimbra doesn't work.

Thanks.

I think there's an entry in bugzilla for that, I'd suggest a search and then vote on it.

There was a migration bug with the BAYES DB.

Also, did you manually enabled DSPAM??? If you did, you should know that there is a *known* problem with DSPAM and delivering messages.

If you don't get that many messages, then it likely won't be an issue.

Take a look here (I post because it's closed, so you wouldn't find it unless you indicated that you wanted to look for closed bugs):

No, it's not that problem. It seems the POP3 aggregation doesn't feed through the anti-spam, I've checked on my server. Fetch mail from an external account and there's no headers for anti-spam.

In addition to that - not even filtering is working for these mails... :-(

Default Filters are a different story...

Well, that's a separate issue. Right now, when you use POP to fetch another account's contents, the only option is to insert them into a specified folder. Running them through your set of filter rules instead is a planned future feature -- please check bugzilla for it, and add it if it's somehow not yet there!
