May be I'm wrong, but I constat the following behavior :
I have a user who activates his away message. This user belongs to several distribution lists, besides he has several aliases.
When I send a message to him (his principal adress) > no prob I recieve the out-of-office message
When I send a message to the distribution lists or to his aliases > I don't recieve the away message... It's good for distribution lists (other users could answer instead of the "away" user) but for aliases I think it's a problem (because this is the only user !)
Is it normal ? Or may be I did'nt see the good option ?
Any answers will be greatly appreciated.
Excuse my poor english level
Erwan

away message is sent if To or CC contains (unless it is really large To or CC list) the user's primary or user's aliases or a zimbraPrefOutOfOfficeDirectAddress for that user (can be set only from CLI today).
