Default FireFox settings

Greetings

In Firefox 2...

Admin interface shows blank white (view source shows markup downloaded).

User interface shows .... We have detected that you are running Netscape 5.0 (Windows; en-US),which is an unsupported browser for the Zimbra Collaboration Suite. ...

Currently only able to use IE7 Any idea what could be in my Firefox install that prohibits Zimbra from showing?

Clues appreciated.

Are you using some hacked/rebranded version of FF2? Several of us in the office have been using FF2 for a while with both the web client and the admin client without any problems. It sounds like the version you're using has been altered, at the very least to send a funky User-Agent string.

Bingo

yep - general.useragent.override had a value set

don't recall setting that and the value seemed reasonable enough - oh well, gone now and all works as it should.

many thanks.

Now, please consider the pitfalls of UA sniffing - scnr.

All the best.
