Exclamation Managing other users' calendars

Hi all, I've just finished installing Zimbra and I wonder if there's an option for a single user (let's say "secretary") to manage different users' calendars (boss-calendar, ceo-calendar, etc.).
I mean, it would be great for user "secretary" to be able to manage "ceo" appointments, without being involved in the appointments themselves (and, obviously, without logging-in as "ceo").
Is it possible ? If so, pls help me explaining how ...

Thanks a lot,
MaRu

Yes. First ceo/boss has to login and share their calendar to secretary.
Login as boss
Go to Calendar
Rt-click on Calendar-folder
Select Share calendar

In the share-dialog,
Select internal-users radio
Enter secretary@domain.com email
Select Manager-role
Save it

Login as Secretary
Accept the share

Repeat the same with other boss'

Thanks a lot rrao;
now the problem is, I cannot see any calendar to accept when logging as secretary. Should I see an email or some alert under the calendar tag ?
As there's anything neither in email-box, nor under calendar-tag, I'm afraid there's a wrong configuration running ...

Thanks again,
MaRu

Thumbs up

GOT IT !

1. log-in as secretary
2. click on Calendar tag
3. right-click on Calendars label
4. click on Link to shared calendar
5. insert data (eg: email: boss@zimbra.mydomain.com - path: Calendar)
6. done

Then it's just a matter of selecting the right calendar when creating an appointment.
FYI, I created an appointment on a wrong calendar (mine, instead of a shared one) and when I tried to edit it and change the calendar, I had an error.

Thanks a lot again,
MaRu

Default Tagging appointments

We have a "scheduler" who has access to the calendars of a large number of users for whom she schedules. We find that when she makes an appointment for another user, she can't tag that appointment with a label. Is there a way around this?
