I receive certain emails that I would like to send the same response to. Is there a way to save an email as a template to reuse again?

Maybe you can write your "template text" as a signature and switch to that signature when you want to use the template. Not exactly what you are looking for but maybe a workaround.
i've considered that, but hopefully theres a more elegant solution. so far most of my experiments have been with drafts, but have not resulted in much on that end. ideally it would be great if you could save a draft even if you send it to someone. currently if you send a draft it disappears from the draft folder. this would seem logical behavior, except in certain cases.
I found this on my own, no thanks to the forum. You can get a zimlet called Templates. It is a little tricky to install, but once in, works OK. You write an email, send it to yourself, then save it as a template to use later. Hope this helps. Email Templates | Zimbra :: Gallery
If I were you I'd ask for my money back. ;) Mind you it might have helped if you'd posted this thread in the correct forum instead of the Zimbra Desktop forum (which is where you originally posted) and mentioned the product and version release you're using, a lack of information is one of the reason people don't reply to threads. I'll move it to the correct forum.
thanks imdiane, i'll have to check that out :)
You can do a similar thing without the Zimlet.
1) Send "template" to yourself
2) Move this mail to folder "Templates" (or what you prefer)
3) To use: Open "Templates" -> right-click -> "Edit as New"
the above workaround by moren is a good solution, but i'm hoping the zimlet will get updated. it does not support 8.0.1 unfortunately. anyone know how to contact the person to see if he could update it?
