Default Feature request for mail filter

Firstly zimbra has an amazing mail filter.
The best and the most important part of it is due to the "Named Header" option that allows you to set your own custom header filter. This is something nearly every filter miss out. You have to edit the code and add new headers if you need them.

What i would to have in the filter is to be able to select Read and Unread messages.
For example, i want to create a new Tag that displays all Unread emails.
For me that would complete the features of the filter.
I can't think of anything else that it doesn't have

Search bugzilla, vote for anything you find or create an entry if there isn't one.

Would a saved search do that for you?

Type "is:unread" (or "is:read") in the search field at top, hit return to run the search, and then click the little disk icon just to the left of the "Advanced Search" button. Once you've saved a search, it'll appear in the folder list at left. Just click the "search folder" to see the matching messages!

Yes that worked. Very nice.

Also it would be nice to be able to apply a filter rule to a certain directory.
At the moment when you create a new filter, it won't filter the existing mail. I would like to be able to apply the filter to the inbox or something.
